 Animals and insects are a couple of my favorite subjects to design and experiment with. In these spectacular designs, there are some incredible subliminal images within. The intricacy and playful nature of this particular series of designs makes this category really special. Each one of these designs has won an award in an art festival!!! One important influence for this design series is the art of 15th century Italian royal court artist Giuseppe Arcimboldo, who used to create portraits of royalty using fruits, vegetables and subliminal imagery. I was introduced to this artist’s style by my then 9 year old son, Madison, who was doing research on this artist….just for fun!
